These are two separate and distinct areas of the business and both extremely different. We have developed an extremely good understanding of both the local Irish market and the fast growing international market. An area renowned for large budgets that can be used up quickly providing little or no return if not managed carefully.  All S&M campaigns in our group are managed and reviewed centrally in a ROI (return of investment) model and this prevents waste and delivers results.

Information Technology
Hotel network IT support has never been as important as it is now, our team are accessible 24/7 and offering hotel services for all on-site technical issues.  Providing daily on-site property management with remote & phone support as a backup. Critical data management of back-ups, virus updates, IT network health, ad-hoc technical issues, and network change management are all part of our management services.  We manage all outsourced maintenance and support contracts for all sites, our team also has experience in all areas of procurement, installation & configuration of new IT systems.

Operational Control
Effective day-to-day management is crucial to a successful business. We will review all of these aspects to ensure that the focus and energy of the team are directed to the right areas of the business.

Human Resources
As this is one of the highest areas of cost, we ensure the right people skills and knowledge are in place to develop the business.  Providing best practise leadership on all aspects, team & individual development, including: recruitment, advertisement, selection tools, the selection process, facilitation of Management Development Programme, employment and legal requirements, compliance, training & development for all key personnel.  Finally, management of the property payroll cost.

Procurement
Choice Hotel Group provides the complete solution for all requirements in a competitive market.  We work on the purchase basket approach to maintain the best pricing for our properties. We work locally with the hotel to identify saving across our portfolio of services and we manage and maintain compliance monthly.  Combined, this guarantees best pricing, product and service from our suppliers.

Financial
We have best practice financial management tools in place to ensure the smooth control of the business.  Financial management is a key component of our service in Choice Hotel Group.  Centralised reporting enables local and senior management to access real-time financial information, allowing real-time decision making and analysis of current trends within the business.  The finance function provides full support to our operations to help ensure variable costs especially payroll, are carefully planned to match revenues.  Cash flow is a priority for all businesses, we manage receipts and expenses closely and prepare detailed cash flow projections weekly and monthly.

Franchise Services
As a Master Franchise holder of Choice Hotels brands in Ireland, we also offer franchise hotel services to hotels.  Currently, some hotels which are franchisees are Clarion Hotels Cork, Limerick, Liffey Valley and Sligo, Quality Hotel Youghal, Quality Hotel Clonakilty and the Gibson hotel.  Some of the benefits of becoming a franchise member include:
